Prizes for Cuban journalists

This Saturday March 10th was held the award ceremony of the XV Contest Gilberto Knight Science Journalism. Among the winners was Alexis Schlachter Antolin, who was awarded the prize for the Work of Life for his dedicated work for over 40 years.
During the ceremony the Peace Flower journalists and Daimaris Martínez Rubio, Technical Youth magazine, won the award in the Print Media category.
Also, Barbara Sanchez Rojas, of Radio Angulo, Holguin, and Diana Rosa Schlachter, the Information System of Cuban television, were winners in the categories of Radio and Television Press, respectively, while the laurel Website was for Angel Erasmo Sanchez Cabrera, the Historical Archives of Ciego de Avila.
The Award for Social Sciences deserved it Orfilio Pelaez, the newspaper Granma, and Moisés González Yero, the Invader, Ciego de Avila. There were references to Daineris Vladia Machado and Rubio, Bohemia, and Peace and Daymaris Flor Martinez, Technical Youth.
Several institutions such as the Cuban Office of Industrial Property (OCPI) CUBAENERGÍA, CIT
MATEL, and the Geological Society of Cuba also gave laurels in that order which corresponded to Sonia Rodriguez Alemany, Leslie Salgado, Jorge and Alexis Rojas Aguilera Sariol, Michel Marcos Marrero, and Idalma Moreno Baños.
He also gave special recognition to the program Agenda 21, of Radio Havana Cuba.
Abstract words were given by Lina Dominguez, Vice Minister of Science, Technology and Environment.
