Spiritus Technology Center wins international certificate

The vice minister said America Santos Rivera Certification Center for Information and Technology Management (CIGET) of Sancti Spiritus with the international standard ISO-9000, this being the only institution winning recognition in the country.
By participating in the inauguration of an international project of community development, the deputy minister at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, said that this certification is achieved through professionalism, and establishing procedures and quality requirements for services and products provided .
While all provinces have CIGET Cuba, highlighted the importance of Sancti Spiritus is its proper management to show what happens in Cuba and the world, to have staff qualified.
This has the potential for proper knowledge management, he said.
The project launched today is cosponsored by the Swiss NGO Local Human Development Project, through its representation in Sancti Spiritus.
It's called Documentation Centre and Integrated Services for Knowledge Mobilization and demand arises in the territory of the specialized search documents and to meet other needs.
With the service of the new documentation center, national currency will facilitate access to knowledge of scientists, teachers, institutions, researchers and general users as well as printing and photocopying documents.
Imported by the Voluntary Executive Company, the equipment consists of computers, laser printers, copiers, professional server, office supplies, paper and furniture, among others.
Santos Rivera also congratulated the journalists, to be held on Wednesday the Cuban Press Day.
On March 14, 1892 was published in New York the first number of the Patria newspaper, founded by the Cuban National Hero José Martí (1853-1895).
