The Cuban Erislandy Lara faced a fight that meant a lot in his career, not due to the quality of the opponent but by the need to convince that he is good enough to become a champion.
The Cuban did not disappointed and finished with Ronald Hearns in the very first round giving him a withering assault that end in a knockout at 1 minute and 34 seconds from the beginning of the fight.
Erislandy Lara gave few options to the rival who completely dominated during this short fight .
