French actor Pierre Richard is shooting in Cuba a film inspired by stories of pirates and privateers in the Caribbean coasts of the eastern city of Baracoa, the first town founded in 1511.
Directed by Patrick Granperret, the feature film "Three Brothers" tells the story of a group of bankers who arrives on the island.
"The father of one of them is my character, said Richard here Thursday at a meeting with the press.
This man dies and his spirit appears frequently in front of the child, because he has the task of looking for a lost pirate ancestor on the beaches of Baracoa.
I filmed for three weeks at the most easterly of the Cuban cities. It's a small character, but I liked it, said Richard. It is a film based on the daily life, away from the traditional rules that circulate on the island, said the actor".
Now back to his country, Richard will come back again to Cuba to continue filming in other locations of the historic center of Havana and the Vedado neighborhood.
