Hotels Tryp Club Cayo Coco and Melia Cayo Coco in Jardines del Rey, in the northern tourist destination in Ceigo de Avila, received recognition for their environmental integration and care of nature.


This distinction was bestowed by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (CITMA) due to the hotel´s compliance with environmental regulations, aimed at contributing to environmental clean-ups.

CITMA delegate in Ciego de Avila, Celso Pazos, told Prensa Latina that both hotels have maintained sustainable work in protecting and maintaining natural resources, fighting pollution and preserving flora and fauna.
