Trinidad a Tourist Destination Among the Most Demanded in Cuba

The Trinidad-Sancti Spíritus tourist pole, in the center of Cuba, consolidates here among the most demanded for travellers from Canada, France, Italy, Germany and United Kingdom, assured tourism specialists today.
The facilities of those two villages, the first one a Mankindâ�Ös Cultural Patrimony and the second one a National Monument, have received so far in this year more than 120 thousand visitors.
According to Reiner Rendón, a delegate of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism in the territory, this figure means an increase of almost 8 percent in comparison with the same stage of the precedent year.
The executive highlighted the kindness of the product, where the tourism of sun and beach converge, nature, history and culture.
With a view to grow in facilities a new hotel called Pansea is built, the second with Five Stars category in the village.
The installation, in the heart of the neighborhood called La Popa, is being built with French-Cuban mixed capital and it will have 52 rooms of different types.
At the closing of August, Cuba arrived to the two million visitors, with 20 days of advance compared to an identical event in 2011, and this represented a rise of 5,3 percent in comparison with the same period of the precedent year.
Cuba has in tourism one of the most dynamic elements in the economy, with aspirations of coming closer to the three million tourists at the end of 2012.
