World Smokers Pay Tribute to Famous Cuban Cigar Roller

About 300 persons of 18 nations pay tribute today to famous Cuban cigar roller Jose Castelar Cairo (Cueto), whose service currículum has several Guinness records, among them that of the world's longest cigar.
These honors are part of the event held this week with Clients and Friends of the House of Partagas, with venue established in 1991 on the ground floor of the cigar factory.
The brand dates back to 1845 in that same place and its House holds two events each year, one in April and another in November, with the most frequent buyers from different parts of the world.
The opening of the meeting was held in the cabaret Habana Café of the Melia Cohiba Hotel, where participants enjoyed cigars rolled excousively for the occasion.
Cueto won the Habano of the Year Award in 2012, and during the Partagas event, he thanked the warm welcome to his records by delegates of Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, the United Status, Holland, Mexico, Greece, Japan, Panama, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, South Africa, Turkey and Cayman Islands.
The 68-year old roller, 52 of which dedicated to rolling habanos, already conquered five records of the London Guinness. In 2001 with a cigar 11.04 meters long, three other records in longitude until 2011, when he rolled a cigar measuring 81.80 meters long.
Cuba is famous for rolling the best Premium cigars in the World, thanks to a triple combination of climate, soil and experience, giving smokers an unforgettable experience when consuming the habanos in its country of origin.
