The presence in Cuba of 350 tour operators and travel agencies from 20 countries to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Havanatur travel agency confirms growing international interest in destination Cuba.

For the first time, this type of promotion attracted a large group of important experts who are interested in sending travelers to Cuba.

The visiting travel agents and tour operators used the opportunity to see a number of interesting destinations in the country for themselves.

The promotional event, Megafam 35, which ran from Sept. 8 to 13, attracted visiting industry experts from Brazil, China, Mexico and the United States.

As a special feature, the event took place at the recently-opened Melia Marina Varadero Hotel.
