Entrepreneurs of Cuba and Brazil will begin on Thursday in this capital a meeting on technical and commercial exchanges that could add values to their respective sugarcane agribusiness chains.
One of the objectives of the two-day negotiating round is the assessment of Brazilian technologies in the production and processing of sugarcane and of renewable fuels like ethanol, bio-diesel and biomass, among other derivatives.
Barbara Rodriguez, a specialist with the Cuban Institute for Sugarcane Derivative Research (ICIDCA), told ACN that the meeting will take place at Havana’s Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
She announced that representatives of 17 entities of that South American nation confirmed their presence in the forum, and 10 of the AZCUBA Business Group.(ACN)
