New Cuban-made medical equipment for neurologial diagnosis and the treatment of hearing pathologies are on display at the 2013 Havana International Trade Fair, FIHAV.

The Cuban company Neuronic, which has a stand at the fair, markets high-tech medical equipment and software for the diagnosing and treating nervous system disorders, produced by the Cuban Neuroscience Center (CNC).

Danilka Castro, a Neuronic marketing specialist, told Prensa Latina that some of the products on display include electroencephalography and electromyography instruments.

Neuronic also markets hearing aids and other products for physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as packages of technical solutions for the screening, diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as hearing impairment.

Likewise, Neuronic offers a neurodevelopmental line that includes research, diagnosis and treatment of childhood neurodevelopmental disorders.

The Havana Trade Fair, which runs Nov. 3-9, is being held at Havana's Expocuba fairgrounds and is the most important general trade show in Cuba and the Caribbean.

It is also one of the most representative trade fairs in Latin America, with nearly 1,400 business representatives from 64 nations of the world.
