A Cuban acrobat quartet was awarded with a bronze medal at the 1st International Festival of Circus held in the southern city of Zhuhai, China, for its performance in the Russian Bar Act.

Artists who are members of the Havana Co. of the National Circus of Cuba (CNC) presented the show for a second time before a large audience.

The Cuban group's show was chosen from among more than 200 submitted to the event and was a finalist among 30 who livened up this festival.

According to information posted on the CNCâ�Ös website, the quartet of acrobats stood out for its professionalism on one of the most prominent circus stages in the world.

The Cuban artists shared the stage with others from 17 countries, some of them awarded in the latest edition of the Monte Carlo Circus Festival.
