Cuba Wins again in World Series of Boxing

The Cuban boxing team, the Domadores, won its fourth consecutive victory in the World Series of Boxing by beating the defending champs, the Astana Arlans Kazahstan, 3-2 Thursday.
The victory helped Cuba stay in first place in Pool B with 12 points, although Cuban team broke its winning streak with its first two defeats.
For the Cuban team, Lazaro Alvarez (60 kilograms), Arisnoidys Despaigne (69), and Julio Cesar La Cruz (81) were the winners, while Gerardo Cervantes (52) and José Angel Larduet (+91) lost their matches.
Cervantes lost his match against Miras Zhakupov 3-0. Minutes later, Alvarez opened the road to a Cuban victory, winning his match against Zhandos Momunov 3-0.
Arisnoidys Despaigne beat Bakhytzan Kozhabekov by Technical Knockout (TKO) in the fourth round and two-time World Champion Julio Cesar La Cruz defeated Croatian Hrvoje Sep 3-0, despite a one-point penalty.
In the closing match, Filip Hrgovic won the second victory for the Astana Arlans Kazahstan in the match, defeating Jose Angel Larduet by TKO.
