Cuba and Russia reaffirm their strategic cooperation

During the UN General Assembly in New York the foreign ministers of Russia and Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez and Serguéi Lavrov, discussed some agreements to strengthen the strategic cooperation between the two countries. Were also discussed several problems of an international character.
The agreements between the two countries have bilateral and international character; they were reached during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to Havana in last July.
Lavrov and Rodriguez agreed to examine the possibility of enhancing collaboration between Russian and Cuban doctors, when humanitarian aid in the fight against Ebola virus in African countries. Russian Foreign Minister reconfirmed Russia advocates cancel as soon as possible the economic embargo against Cuba.
