At the end of September the main organizers of Cuba marathon, Marabana, did a count of entries, the result was 370 runners from 39 countries, this being the highest recorded in the past editions.

Those responsible for the event are very pleased with these figures, it is still more than a month to shut down online registrations and the number of foreign participants has broken the mark of years.

In 2013 online registrations of foreign runners were 187, and today, 45 days before the event takes place, there is almost twice. This revives the hopes of the organizers to reach the milestone of 400 participants.

In order to get beyond the current record, the board of Marabana has decided to extend the online Cubans registration until October 30. The event is scheduled for November 16, which Havana will witness the most recognized middle distance race and background of the Caribbean country.
