Cuban minister closes trade relations in Uruguay

Antonio Carricarte, Second Minister of Foreign Trade of Cuba, met with Uruguayan officials in Montevideo. The meeting covered bilateral relations and, in particular, the progress of trade and economic ties between the two countries.
Carricarte spoke with Uruguayans foreign ministers, Luis Almagro, and Finance, Mario Bergara. In the cordial meeting, held in the Uruguayan Foreign Ministry also participated Cuba's ambassador in Uruguay, Mercedes Vicente.
The second minister is leading a delegation to the Business Expo-Aladi, held in Montevideo until Friday, attended by more than 600 companies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Roberto Verrier, director of the Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, and Ruben Ramos, director of trade policy for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Trade are also participating in the event.
To Expo- Aladi also attend several representatives of Cuban companies, the event is organized by the Latin American Integration Association (Aladi), based in Montevideo.
