The president of INDER was dismissed

Julio Christian Jiménez Molina, president of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) for nine years, was dismissed by the State Council on the proposal of President Raul Castro. It has not been specified causes or if he will assume other responsibilities.
To replace him has been named Eduardo Antonio Garrido Becali, until now president of the University of Science of Physical Culture and Sport Comandante Manuel Fajardo.
Becali Garrido, 50, is a graduate of the mentioned center. He has a PhD, professor of Judo and has participated in the preparation of the national team athletes in the sport.
Cuban sports through a steep decline for several years, with the loss of prominence in international settings and the constant drain sportsmen in search of better living conditions and training, and professional contracts.
