Cuba presents its tourist offers to attract Spanish visitors

Cuba presented in the Spanish cities of Vigo, Oviedo and San Sebastián offers of its tourist-centric destinations for sun and beach and the 500th anniversary of Santiago de Cuba to be held in 2015.
At the end of September, Spain ranked ninth among tourism generating countries to Cuba, with growth of 5.8% in visitors compared with the same period in 2013.
The speakers also provided details of the development of tourist infrastructure at various points as Jardines del Rey, where ç Melia Jardines del Rey and Cayo Coco Pullman hotels will open.
The attributes and values of the archipelago were also presented, particularly it safety and facilities for the development of different forms such as ecotourism and cultural tourism.
Each session had the assistance of some seventy tourist agents and representatives of hotel chains Iberostar, Gran Caribe, Meliá, Blue Diamond, Blau Hotels, Barceló, Be Live and Pestana Hotels & Resorts Group.
Among the tour operators participated Guama-Havanatur, San Cristóbal, Travelplan, Fourth Island, Quelonea, Cathay Politours, WorldTravel Log, FSB travel and the airline Air Europa.
