The Indian Ambassador in Cuba, C. Rajasekhar, said his country was honored to be the guest of honor at the International Book Fair held annually on the island.
Rajasekhar said he was happy that India is the first Asian nation to be honored in this way in the event, and said they intended to bring, plus books, a sample of music, dance, crafts, movies, yoga, food and a small bazaar, textile and costume jewelry.
He explained that took longer to respond to the request of the Cuban Book Institute since in February traditionally takes place the Book Fair in Delhi, but will happily attend the Havana city a delegation of intellectuals and leading artists to show part of this ancient culture.
