Cuban authorities arrest drug dealer in Havana airport

The General Customs of Cuba detained a man who was trying to enter the island 35 capsules of cocaine, staying in his abdominal cavity. It was discovered at the Jose Marti International Airport and now is awaiting a trial.
According to statements of the passenger, a friend will pay "$ 3,000, plus the cost of accommodation and passages if moved toward Cuba a certain amount of drug in ingested form, which was destined for domestic consumption."
"Customs have modern techniques that have recently been acquired for the detection of drug trafficking. One is the intracorporeal bodyscan, which is used to determine if a person has ingested drugs, and extracorporeal bodyscan used to see if no body attached to smuggling" said Moraima Nuviola Rodriguez, head of the Research Department of the Customs.
According to official statistics, from January to November 2014, the "system of border clash" had discovered by air, sea and postal channels "38 843 kg of drugs, of which 36,587 kg of cocaine, 2,224 kilograms of marijuana and 0.032 kg cannabinoids ".
