Cuban Arnold Alcolea definitely took over the award of sprints 50th edition of the Cycling Tour of Costa Rica, to master the only segment agreed to the ninth stage of the turn.

According to press dispatches the host country, Alcolea arrived on the final day to 39 units, unattainable for his closest pursuers to win the sprint finals in the town of El Guarco of Carthage.

With this result, the Cuban will just finish the final two stages agreed for Wednesday and Thursday, after retaining his title achieved in 2012, in the same turn.
