The musician León Gieco will act at a festival in Cuba

The Argentine musician León Gieco will visit Cuba to participate in the festival of trova Longina which will be held in the city of Santa Clara. Many are waiting with great anticipation famous minstrel performance.
The name of the author of the hymn “Solo le pido a Dios” stands in the program of this event which annually brings together the best of this genre to pay tribute to Manuel Corona and other bards.
For now, Gieco will act in La Caridad Theater on January 8, the eve of the traditional pilgrimage to the tomb of Corona, author of the immortal theme Longina, in the village of Caibarién.
The organizers will forward this year for the first time Tony Avila, humorous and poignant at the same time troubadour, with just two albums has established itself as regards gender.
Also performing local troubadours but recognized throughout Cuba and several Latin American plazas, as Roly Berrio, who will star alongside Ávila closing concert.
