Matanzas restarted National Baseball Series with a win

Matanzas won 5-4 to Granma on Sunday on the first day of 2015, marking the reopening of the 54th National Baseball Series and the beginning of the second phase.
Matanzas, with 32 victories and 14 defeats, is the leader of the eight teams looking for one of four tickets to the playoffs to decide the championship title.
After this match, Matanzas is located in front of Granma (29-17), Isla de la Juventud (27-19) and Industriales (26-20).
Behind leave Pinar del Río, current monarch, Artemisa and Ciego de Ávila, all with 25-21, and closes the group Holguin with 23-23.
The current phase of the baseball championship of the island will pause from January 22 to February 13 for Pinar del Río team participation in the Caribbean Series in San Juan in Puerto Rico.
After the parties will resume until the final qualifiers scheduled until March 19.
