Cuban Dayron Robles, world champion in 2011, continues his process back on top and at the meeting in Moscow Indoor became a prestigious victory in the 60m hurdles.
The Cuban hurdler, who won Thursday in Dusseldorf (Germany) a time of 7.64 seconds, won the Russian capital with 7.69, while the local Konstantin Shabanov, while the Czech Petr Svoboda was third with 7.75.
Almost 40 years on his legs, Kim Collins, world outdoor champion in the 100 meters in Paris 2003, seems to be living a second youth. In Moscow he achieved the best universal mark of the course in 60 with a time of 6.48 that gave to overcome the American Mike Rodgers (6.56) and the Cuban Yunier Perez (6.61).
The Kenyan Vincent Kibet won his countrymen Bethwell Birgen and Silas Kiplagat in the 1,500 meters world best (3: 37.79), an achievement that also reached Russia's Ekaterina Renzhina in 400 (52.08) and the Polish Kamila Lićwinko height (2, 01).
The Belarusian Alina Talay, the fastest of the year in the 60 hurdles, won with 8.02, the Russian Ekaterina won Koneva length 6.82 (six inches from the best of the season, the German Sostene Moguenara-Taroum) Czech Pavel Maskal won 400m 45.80, Russian Dmitriy Semenov in height with 2.31, Greek Louis Tsatoumas in length with 8.05 and Qatari Musaeb Abdulrahman Balla in the 600 in 1: 15.99.
