Cuba lost against Venezuela in the Caribbean Series

Balbino Fuenmayor designated homer and good pitching from starter Cesar Valdez gave the Venezuelan Caribbean Anzoategui club 6x2 victory Thursday against Pinar del Río, and to maintain their unbeaten in the Caribbean Series.
The two races that Cesar Valdez accepted by Cuban homers were from Alex Malleta and Luis Alberto Valdes. In his stay of 7 innings on the mound Valdes allowed seven hits, two earned runs, he prescribed eight strikeouts and walked none.
Cuba had gone ahead in the bottom of the second inning homer by Malleta to right. But Anzoategui reacted angrily in the third act to overturn the score 4-1 in his favor.
First deliveries of the Cuban opener, Venezuelans ligated four hits and three times Gorkys Hernandez to score four runs.
In turn, the starter Cesar Valdez, after tablazo of Malleta, recomposed to take the following entries without difficulty until Valdes homer in the seventh, when he pass reliever Luis Ramirez, who pitched the eighth uncomplicated.
Closer Pedro Rodríguez was complicated by accepting two singles in the ninth inning, but managed to get three outs that secured the Venezuelan victory.
