The lack of condoms has been beating for weeks to pharmacies in the city of Pinar del Río. According to several administrators, the latest installment of this contraceptive was held last December, and sold that same month of 2014.

No one can explain with certainty the cause of the problem. "It seems that the drugstore does not have to serve because we have asked and have not come," said the manager of a pharmacy in the provincial capital, while another considers that the deficit is motivated by "a problem at the factory in Havana ".

In mid-2014 had transpired in the national press by noted similar shortages in the country's network of pharmacies and other outlets crisis.
