Cuban president Raul Castro said today that negotiations between Cuba and the US “go well" and noted that after the official removal of the island from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism by the end of May, they may “appoint ambassadors.”
"It goes well the thing (with the US), of course at our own pace, that many complain it is very slow. And why do we have to go running to make mistakes?”, Castro said today.
"We extend relationships, but normalizing relations is another matter", said Cuban president, and he insisted that to reach the stage of normalization "the embargo must be removed and Guantanamo should be returned".
