Tomislav Nikolic, president of Serbia, conferred top honours today to the Cuban Revolution leader, the former President Fidel Castro, by his important contribution to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Serbia and the Caribbean country.
Days ago, Nikolic met with the current Cuban President Raul Castro, in Moscow, where on Saturday they attended the military parade for the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazism.
The Serbian president also will pay an official visit to Cuba on May 18.
