Cuban Serguey Torres won the gold medal in the men’s C- 1 5000 meters event, on the final day of the Canoe World Cup, located in the town of Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal.
Torres won this not Olympic event with time of 22.12.060 minutes, followed by Chinese Peng Fei Zhen (22.36.940) and Polish Matheusz Kaminsky (22.46.180), respectively, according to the event’s website.
