Guayas training ship of the Navy of the Republic of Ecuador arrived today in the morning at the port of Havana on an official visit During its entrance to Havana Bay, the visiting ship fired 21 artillery rounds as a salute to the nation, which were reciprocated by an artillery battery of the Revolutionary Armed Forces from the fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña.

The ship's crew during their stay in Cuba will play a program of activities, including a courtesy visit to the President of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power of Havana and will also visit places of historical and cultural interest. People can visit the ship on May 26th from 10 am to 4 pm, and on days 27th and 28th the visit time will be extended until 6 pm.
