As an additional indicator to improve relations between the US and Cuba, fifty three Arkansans have o rganized, through the Chamber of Commerce of the state, a week-long visit to Cuba on Tuesday, said the National Public on Monday. According to Susie Marks, Vice President of the Chamber, the trip is not focused on official affairs or to forge economic ties with the island, however, several members of the group belong to the industrial sector of Arkansas. "From the beginning of our trip there was not much interest from the agricultural sector of the economy of our state, so it can be an opportunity to open contacts with Cuba a bit more", Marks stated. Marks also added that this trip is mainly to learn about Cuban culture and will include visits to factories of rum and cigars.
