John Kerry, Secretary of State of the United States, received on Thursday a report on the negotiations between Havana and Washington for the normalization of diplomatic relations with Cuba and the nuclear talks with Iran from Boston, where he is recovering from an accident he suffered last Sunday.
Kerry, who on Tuesday underwent surgery to repair the fracture of femur he suffered in an accident while riding a bike in Switzerland, is already "walking on crutches" and looking for a date to return to Washington, according to Marie Harf, State Department spokeswoman.
John Finer, chief of staff at the State Department, "was today in Boston (Massachusetts) and informed him (Kerry) of a set of priorities and important issues right now, including Yemen, Cuba, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine and the climate change, " said Harf in her daily press conference.
Harf declined to comment on the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations with Cuba, which held its fourth round of negotiations on May 21 and 22, in Washington.
