German airline Condor will increase its flight connections to Cuba from next winter, which will allow Germany to remain as one of the top source markets of travelers to the island, local media reported today.
In recent weeks it has also been reported that China and Cuba are finalizing the details for Air China airline to connect Beijing and Havana with a direct flight from September.
The Asian airline announced several months ago its intention to start these flights since September 28 three times a week and a technical refuelling stop in Montreal (Canada ).
The Beijing-Havana route will be the first direct connection from China to the Caribbean and opens the prospect that Cuba will become the connection point of Chinese travelers to other countries in Latin America.
