Another Mexican company authorized to invest in Mariel

The Cuban government has authorized the Mexican company DEVOX General Paint to install a paint factory at Mariel megaport, jointly built by Cuba and Brazil in 2014 and which is already working with another firm of Mexico, said on Tuesday the Mexican Foreign Ministry.
"The Mexican company DEVOX General Paint was approved by the Council of Ministers of Cuba to make an investment of 100% as a foreign company in Mariel Special Development Zone," explained the Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The Mexican company will install a factory of household and antifouling paints for industrial use for both the Cuban market and for export, said the statement which did not specify the amount or the conditions of the investment.
