Tim Cole, British ambassador to Cuba, offered on his official blog of the Foreign Ministry a prize to the first person to write him a comment from a Wi-Fi signal in a park of Trinidad, Sancti Spíritus, or Santiago de Cuba.
Why does the Ambassador offer a prize? He says he is excited by the announcement of new Wi-Fi points in parks on the island; something the diplomat says is a great opportunity to boost the economy. Similarly he praises media ads ruling on the commitment of the Cuban government to expand internet access in households to 50%.
