The Spanish Development Finance Company today announced the opening of a line of public funding for projects of 40 million euros (45.4 million dollars) of Spanish companies in Cuba until 2017 and may be extended.
Jaime García Legaz, Spanish Secretary of State for Trade, who presented today this project, confirmed that on July 6 he will travel to Havana with a delegation of businessmen with whom he will maintain a working meeting a day later.
The tourism sector, construction and tourism-related services are the most prone areas to invest in Cuba any time soon, said García-Legaz.
