About 80 foreign artists will participate in the 14th Summer Circus Festival Circuba 2015, from July 8 to September 6, announced today Rigoberto Fernandez, director of the National Circus of Cuba (CNC by its Spanish acronym).
At a press conference in the Hotel Inglaterra, Fernández said that there will 24 acts in  competition, including six of the Havana Company and two by national artists based in Spain.
The inaugural gala will be on July 8th at Karl Marx Theater, entitled La colmenita se va al circo (The little beehive is going to the circus), and includes the live orchestra of that theater group for children, a play and several acts performed by artists of the island.
After July 20, a national tour will take place through the cities of Camaguey,  Santiago de Cuba, Holguin, Las Tunas, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and for the first time Isla de la Juventud.
