Kenia Serrano, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, said that brigades of solidarity with the Greater Antilles about 100 nations will come to Havana in July and August.
The first brigade will arrive to visit places of interest in the country, in order to know the reality of the archipelago and its current economic context.
Serrano said that they also travel to support Cuba in the demand to lift the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States over 50 years ago, and stressed that it shows the maturity of the movement of solidarity and admiration for the Caribbean nation.
