NBOX, new technology that expands in Cuban schools
For the next school year, the Cuban secondary education will receive 390 new NBOX technology with which the Ministry of Education (Mined by its Spanish acronym) began some years ago to replace VHS video.
Fernando Ortega, director of Educational Technology of Mined said that the Cuban education chose to use this technology because the DVD have been superseded by other more developed platforms, while other suitable variant for educational establishments, which would be to have linked several screens network to a server, required to have digital TVs, which have a very high price.
