The online rental homes service Airbnb will cost the rental of all US customers who have booked accommodation on the island before July 20 for a date between 19 - 26 July.
"For our guests who booked trips to Cuba this week, good news: We are celebrating the reopening of the embassy and we will cover your stay", the company announced via Twitter.
Nathan Blecharczyk, co-founder and CTO of Airbnb, said recently in an article for Fortune publication, that since his company began allowing hosting ads in Cuba in April, there are more than 2,000 accommodations available. The statistics show that Cuba is today its largest growth market, the company confirmed.
Airbnb became the first major US Company to enter the island in decades.
