The Cuban-born rapper and businessman Pitbull recently asked the United States to lift the trade embargo on Cuba on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The musician sent the message through a picture of a bottle of Voli Vodka, the company he co-owns. In the picture posted on Instagram you can see the bottle with the inscription in English: "End the embargo on Cuba”.
"Very soon there will be freedom.  Voli time in Cuba," he said in English in a posting on Twitter and continued in Spanish: "Cuba libre ya tu sabe fiesta, DALE!" (Free Cuba. Party. You know!).
Pitbull also said he wants to sing in Cuba. In an interview with Spanish television network Univision he said he wants to offer a concert at the Malecon (seawall promenade) in Havana.
