TelcoCuba US operator has received legal permits, by the Federal Communications Commission of the United States, to operate on the island and provide telecommunications services.
With this new step the company has materialized desires its president expressed last June about the island and his intention to enter it. "Cuba is the largest untapped market in our hemisphere," said William J. Sanchez to the portal PRNewswire, who declared, at that time, that to enter into a market like Cuba was highly tempting, where only one in six people have a communication device.
Among the areas TelcoCuba would be willing to bring to the island are IP voice services, mobile telephony and calling cards from the United States.
This news confirms that Cuba has become since last December in a very attractive market for investors and entrepreneurs who do not want to be late for the appointment.
