Cuba recorded ten maximum temperature records in July

The oppressive heat that characterizes the behavior of this summer in the Cuban archipelago was accentuated in July, a total of ten maximum temperature records for the seventh month of the calendar were reported. These occurred in Cienfuegos, with 37.0 degrees Celsius; Holguin, 37.5; Indio Hatuey, Matanzas, 37.5; Columbus, 36.2; Guaro, Holguin, 36.6; Júcaro, Ciego de Avila, 37.0; Jo¬vellanos, 36.4; Punta del Este, Isle of Youth, 34.5; The jíquima, Hol¬guín, 37.1 and Con-tramaestre, Santiago de Cuba, 38.2.
