Chinese pianist Lang Lang will perform in Cuba with Chucho Valdes

Both artists met in Vienna last year and after playing together in a private meeting, decided they would like to to perform together in Havana, said one of the organizers of the concert to agency Prensa Latina.
The presentation will take place in the Cathedral Square in Old Havana and it will also has the presence of American violinist and conductor Marin Alsop, current director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, who for the occasion will lead the Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.
Lang Lang was born in Shenyang, China, in 1982, is considered one of the best pianists in the world and has managed to bring classical music to younger audiences.
Chucho Valdes, who won five Grammys and three Latin Grammys, is one of the most important figures in the history of Cuban jazz.
