Cuba will take part at the Fourth World Conference of Parliament Presidents, call by the Inter-parliamentary Union at United Nations in New York, August 31 to September 2nd focusing on the participation of parliaments in the implementation of new sustainable development goals.
The Cuban delegation will be headed by the vice-president of the Cuban Parliament Ana Maria Mary and will include another four lawmakers.
The event will adopt a final declaration and will discuss about the work by Parliament about gender equality, strategies and recommendations by the Tenth Meeting of Women Presidents of Parliaments.
