Juan Carlos Varela, head of state of Panama, announced on Thursday that he will travel to Cuba on September 9 with a delegation of businessmen, with the main objective of boosting trade between the two countries. The president also informed that another aspect of the visit is the relaxation of visa procedures as well as the change from restricted to stamped visas for Cuban citizens. He added that in the reopening of the relations between Cuba and the US Panama plays an important role, and will cooperate with that ease of migration procedures.
