The President of the Spanish Congress makes an official visit to Cuba

President of the Congress of Spain, Jesus Posada, arrived on Wednesday to Havana accompanied by deputies of the Popular Party (PP), Socialist Party (PSOE) and United Left (IU) for a visit of an institutional nature in order to boost bilateral relations.
The agenda of the visit, which will run until Saturday, started on Thursday with a meeting with the Spanish ambassador to Cuba, Francisco Montalban, and then a meeting with representatives of the Association of Spanish Entrepreneurs on the island (AEEC).
On Friday, among other acts, Posada will meet with Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment minister Rodrigo Malmierca, and will also be received by the Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina. At the end of the day he will meet with the Spanish community resident in Cuba.
