Cuban first vice-president Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed the advancement reached in the biotechnological exchange between Cuba and China by describing it as a significant pillar of bilateral relations.
Diaz-Canel made his statements during a visit at the Beijing-based Biotech Cuba-China joint venture, before departing China where he attended commemorations for the 70th anniversary of the victory by the Chinese people against the Japanese aggression during World War II.
Bilateral exchange in the biotechnology area was significantly boosted with the recent visit to Cuba by president Xi Jinping, as both sides signed important agreements, Diaz-Canel recalled. “Together we have paved a road to success, which has provided us with experience and mutual benefits,” he pointed out.
