Johnny Ventura arrives in Cuba to record his latest album
The famous Dominican musician Johnny Ventura arrived in Havana to record his latest phonographic production in conjunction with the Cuban singer Tony Avila.
A selection of songs written by the singer of the island will be taken to the musicality of Ventura on an album that collects various Latin genres like the bolero, bachata, merengue, among others.
The Dominican artist told reporters that he was very optimistic about his new CD, which is being developed in Cuba and will soon be shared with the public. He added that the production will feature the participation of other Cuban musicians, but declined to advance further details.
The Cuban composer Tony Avila is one of the most popular Cuban musicians of recent years, his songs mix traditional trova with other Caribbean rhythms.
