President Barack Obama and Raul Castro will meet on Tuesday in New York, where both participate in the debates of the annual UN General Assembly, announced today the White House.
Today will be the second meeting between the two in the process for the normalization of bilateral relations announced last December and has allowed the restoration of diplomatic ties between the US and Cuba.
Obama and Castro spoke by phone last week, on the eve of the visit of Pope Francis to both countries and discussed bilateral normalization process and possible measures to enhance cooperation.
