Representatives of Cuba and the US concluded in Havana the first technical talks to normalize commercial air services between the two countries after bilateral diplomatic thaw process, the Foreign Ministry of the island said Wednesday.
The meeting took place behind closed doors in "a constructive, respectful and professional atmosphere," according to a note posted on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba.
The delegations of Cuba and the US discussed issues related to air transport ,safety and aviation security, and agreed on the importance of continuing these exchanges, according to the CubaMinrex site.
